G & R Metals was founded in 1982 to provide welding repair services to local industry.  Subsequently, we have established a reputation as an efficient, high quality contract manufacturer capable of meeting the toughest specification tolerances and delivery schedules.  As a result of our commitment to excellence in providing cost competitive and quality services to industry, demand for our services has required continual plant expansion.

     From its modest beginning, G & R Metals has grown steadily from a small repair shop to a fully equipped manufacturing facility with extensive metal fabrication and machining capabilities all housed in a modern facility totaling 20,250 square feet of production space.  G & R Metals provides a broad range of quality manufacturing capabilities, including contract manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, conventional machining, CNC Machinery, Wire EDM, mobile service and repair work.  Our employees are skilled craftsmen with years of experience in their trades.  Our welders and procedures are code qualified AWS.  Our machinists are apprentice and/or technical school graduates.

     G & R Metals now operates as three strategic business units.  The first unit focuses on the original business G & R Metals began with, repair work.  G & R Metals remains committed to inside and outside repair work to provide timely, cost effective repair solutions for our customers.

     Our second business unit focuses on small fabrication and machining services.  These jobs typically involve small production runs and/or very short lead times.

     Our third business unit involves contract fabrication/manufacturing in which we build under contract the equipment our customers design and sell.  This division handles large production runs, large scale, one-of-a-kind specialty fabrications, machining and production of complete electromechanical finished goods.

The application of appropriate technical and quality standards is critical for manufactured products.  G & R Metals employs a Quality Assurance Program certified to MIL-I-45208 Inspection System Requirements.  Quality is handled in a team environment to ensure that every item delivered can be certified to specifications and free from defects.
